Resources at the Old Library
The Old Library houses the Eastern Townships Collection of the Bishop’s University Library, which includes the following types of resources:
- published histories on the Eastern Townships
- published and unpublished family histories
- maps
- Bishop’s University archives (i.e. The Campus, yearbooks, published histories on Bishop’s University, etc.)
- historical newspapers (on microfilm)
- census returns for the Eastern Townships (on microfilm)
- civil status registers from Protestant Churches in the Eastern Townships (on microfilm)
- Lower Canada Land Petitions (on microfilm)
